Fawzya Hirji is a dedicated educator, consultant, and advocate for inclusive and mindful leadership in schools. With over two decades of experience in international, primary, and inclusive settings, she specializes in helping schools design environments where all students — regardless of ability, background, or learning style — feel supported, valued, and empowered.
Previously, she served in leadership roles at international schools in Dar es Salaam where she led initiatives in mindful education, curriculum design, teacher training, and inclusive practices.
As part of her consultancy with Lead.Learn.Educate, Fawzya guides schools through inclusive planning sessions, leadership development, and the integration of mindfulness into educational practice. She is known for her practical tools, strategic mindset, and commitment to empowering teachers and students alike.
Her approach is grounded on:
Creating learning environments that support diverse needs and abilities
Empowering teachers and leaders through practical frameworks (such as UDL – Universal Design for Learning)
Embedding mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and reflection into leadership and classroom practice
Collaborating closely with school teams, families, and communities to create sustained meaningful change
Through this holistic lens, she designs systems that are inclusive, adaptable, and deeply human. Her work bridges policy and practice, ensuring that every initiative—whether a curriculum plan, leadership workshop, or wellbeing protocol—is rooted in clarity, compassion, and impact. With a commitment to equity and excellence, she helps schools cultivate cultures where every learner and educator can thrive.
